From Fear and Uncertainty to Hope and Independence
There was a time when a doctor told me my son would likely never live a normal life. I was even advised to consider institutionalizing him. As a single mother raising a child with severe autism and complex health challenges, those words could have defined our future.
But deep down, I refused to accept that path. I knew I had to explore every possible way to help my child survive, grow, and reach his potential. That decision sparked a journey that would ultimately reshape both of our lives.
A Mother’s Determination
In my son’s early years, keeping him alive was a full-time, life-or-death effort. He required breathing equipment multiple times each day and was allergic to over 150 foods. Each day demanded constant vigilance, medical coordination, and emotional endurance.
At the same time, my own health collapsed. I developed severe chronic illnesses, including Lyme disease, Epstein-Barr virus, heavy metal toxicity, co-infections, gangrene, and complications that required extensive treatments and spinal reconstruction.
Living through these challenges while caring for a medically fragile child was one of the hardest experiences of my life—but giving up was never an option.
Driven by love and determination, I immersed myself in research and sought solutions around the world. I studied autism, chronic illness, immune dysfunction, and emerging therapies, collaborating with physicians and specialists globally. With few roadmaps available, I had to create my own.
